That's so cute, June!

I don't know if they have it in the UK, but if you can find a brand of fondant called Satin Ice it tastes really nice, more like Fluff than most fondants. They also sell flavours for fondant that you can mix in and it gives it a bit of color so you don't have to use to much of the foul tasting dyes!

Ohhh!  A friend of mine made me one for my birthday this summer!  The Daleks on it were made out of shortbread.  I'll get on Steve about posting a photo.

I think M&S does a chocolate dalek cake! My cousin had one for her birthday last month. I'm fairly sure it was M&S.

Tire of cakes?!

NO WAY!

I bake them at least once a week.  If on holiday, then every other day or so.

I try a new recipe about once a month and stick to some old standby's the rest of the time - particularly a chocolate one made with yogurt and mixed fruit and chocolate chips to sneak fruit into Ailidh.

June that is fab..I think you should start selling them on the side...mothers are always trying to find cool cakes for their kiddies birthday parties!
