We're engaged!

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday in Egypt where Dan asked me to marry him.  It was out on a jetty in the red sea the first full day we were there.  Hardest part was not being able to go out and buy every brides magazine and start planning!!! 

Can't wait to start planning!  (doing it in my hometown in the states next Spring)

Congrats!!  How exciting!! :)

Our wedding was back in the States, in my hometown, as well - last March - even though we already lived here.  I know what you mean about the bridal magazines - I'd never even read one, much less bought one, before we got engaged and yet it was like the ring flipped some sort of switch and suddenly I couldn't help myself!  ;D
