recourse for tenants in UK
« on: July 30, 2007, 11:21:51 AM »
I know a bit about tenants' rights in the US, but are things the same over here? Does anybody know any sites that give the skinny on what the legalities are of being a tenant?

Thanks.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

This site is pretty good although is aimed at Landlords.

http://www.landlordzone.co.uk/regulations.htm

It only covers England and Wales though.

The CAB site has good info too.

Shelter should have a site too if you google it - i know it has details of the housing act on it but can't remember the name of the site!
