I need gallery help please!

I'd like to be able to upload the pics from the Leeds gathering into the gallery in the meetup section. But I have no clue how to do it. I can only see an option to add a new album to my own personal gallery, (which is where another set of meetup pics languishes since I couldn't figure it out back then either).

Help? 

Oh thank you Courtney!  You're much further along than I would be, I'm sure!  Steve pointed out to me that I could click on the photos you posted & make them bigger (it wouldn't have occurred to me otherwise).

  But then they don't fit on the screen which is frustrating as well.

Are you able to upload them?  Or are you not at that stage?  You can add another album and call it something else.

There's a meet ups album you could put them in there.

That's what I am asking about.

When I go to the gallery to upload photos, the only option I see is to add a new album to my own personal gallery. I don't want to do that, but I do not see where the option to add a new album to the meetups section is. 

I've added a Leeds album to the Get Togethers, are you able to upload to that now?

I am getting the following message:

1. Leeds Aug 2007 011.jpg   The height and or width of the uploaded picture is more than that allowed by the gallery config.

It's only a 174KB JPEG though.

There is a height/width limit of 1024 pixels as that is equal or larger than most people's screen settings. It isn't the filesize that's a problem. My 640px wide images are only 60kb, maybe try resizing first?

I managed to get 8 pics up, but now the gallery will not allow me to upload the rest, even though I have resized them. I have to go out for a bit but will try again this evening. 

Were you able to upload the rest?

I can't load mine up either. I keep getting this

I tried playing with the gallery once, and it was a little beyond me.  I could not figure out how to upload my pics, so I kinda gave up.
