Just goes to show that you can't judge a person from what you see on the outside. It's one of those "I never thought HE would do this" kind of stories.

That is seriously messed up. The guy has problems and needs help, and the media
is right there to publish it, the guy needs a lot of privacy at this moment... Thats one of the reasons I hate the media and paparazzi. How would other people like it if it was made known to the world that you tried to commit suicide or going through problems...famous or not, its a personal thing that shouldnt be in the limelight ::)

Apparently, he has suffered from depression for a long time and has been hospitalised before. If what I read on the internet is true. And it always is, right?  ;)

He just so doesn't look the type. Always seems so confidence and breezy..

That's why it's hard to judge. I've known 3 people who've committed suicide and all were like that. You just can't tell sometimes

Poor Owen, he is so great at making us laugh. 

It's so easy to hide behind a smile isn't it.

I hope he gets the help he needs. :(

I've had PND to the point of being suicidal, and you'd have never guessed.  That's the awful thing about suicide, a lot of times, it's so 'sudden' because the person hid their illness so well.

Inside, they were dying, and struggling so hard against it.

I'm glad Owen was discovered in time, even if he doesn't think so at first.  I really hope he gets the help he needs and wants to give himself another chance at life.

there's not really a type, to be honest.  Like expat said, you can't tell what's going on inside a person's head.

do u guys think it had anything to do with the recent break up with kate hudson? was she the one yeah he was with?:( anyways like it was said prior, famous or not, its sad when sucide attempts happen, i hope anyone dealing with these issues can find the peace and over come this!

No.  I think it has to do with the nature of his illness. 

I really hope it goes well for him and he gets some good help.
