Did anyone else hear about the remake of Halloween? Rob Zombie is directing it.
I seriously doubt it will be as good as the original..it was CLASSIC!

But the trailer doesn't look too bad, But its not cinema-worthy for me, will wait until its out on DVD!

I know, but I reallly hate it when they remake an original...take psycho for instance...the remake was awful and so was the remake of The Hills have Eyes, and also House on Haunted Hill....... I  could go on and on with the crappy remakes :P lol

I don't think there should be a Halloween remake. It's a true classic and perfect the way it is.  I love horror movies, but this is just to show more blood this time. The remake of the Hills Have Eyes was even too much for me and I say the more blood and gore the better.

Although I still feel the subject should be left alone because the original is a true classic, Zombie isn't actually remaking the original it's more of a side story on what Michael went through after he murdered his sister. It's him growing up truly shaping into that madman. I would like to think that Zombie can pull this off but I am VERY skeptical.

Well, my DH hates horror movies, but he came home telling me that he has heard nothing but good things about the new Halloween.  So, I may try to check it out next weekend.  I just wish it was released closer to Halloween.
