Hang in there. I know it's easier said than done, but from someone who's been there, once May comes around, all the wait will be worth it.
Do you have Skype? That can help with costs of calling. Mr. C. and I ended up getting Vonage because our systems probably couldn't handle Skype. It's free to call Vonage to Vonage anywhere in the world, and US Vonage can call UK landlines free. But be sure to find out what the cancellation terms are. Before Vonage, he had some sort of VOIP or something where he could call me for a few pence a minute, and I had a regular landline plan where I paid like $10 extra a month for an international plan with $.03 a minute. Skype is definitely the best value.
Mr. C. and I are now able to do things like watch films "together" on the phone. We always try to make sure we have time online to play games or pursue common interests, even if just virtually. It makes us feel more like a "normal" couple.
There's nothing that will take away all the pain of being from a totally different country than the person you love, but you can make it a bit better. Try not to get too down. I hope you feel better soon. If worst comes to worse, immerse yourself in planning for her trip and your wedding. Just distracting yourself or feeling like you're working towards a goal that seems out of your reach sometimes helps.
