Oh well I will take Skippy anyday.  I must admit that I'm a diehard JIF fan, but if it's Skippy or no "real" peanut butter, I think I can handle it.  The peanut butter in the UK is like that natural stuff, so it's probably more healthy for you, but oh well.

I love nothing more than PB on toast or just a PB sandwich.  DF puts butter on his bread before the PB, which I thought was strange, but after having their version of PB, I have to agree it tastes better to add the butter.

Sainsbury's is the best...they have loads more American products than ASDA.  Wooohoo for Sainsbury's!!!;D

I put butter on my toast before I put peanut butter on it.  Got it from my dad, I think.

Oh - and you know what else is scrummy?!  Port wine cheese spread and peanut butter on toast!!!!  Honest!!!!   :D

Heh-I've already informed Mr S now that whenever he visits me between now and December, he's taking back as much Jif as he can carry! ;)

Kizmet,

You're on the guest list!  I usually take 6 pounds of Fluff over, but the next trip, I'll stock up.  The true test that will separate the hard core from the players will be "toasted or plain."  For dessert we can have sundae sandwiches--Fluff, peanut butter, bananas, and chocolate chips, toasted, of course.

Fluff recently went interstate.  I saw it on the shelves at Publix in Florida.  Now, some parts of Florida are a suburb of Boston, so it makes sense that Fluff would be there.  I'll have to check next time I visit Mom to see if Publix carries Cain's dill relish, another staple that I cart over to my sister.
:D

Um - my family's been buying Marshmallow Fluff since I was a little girl - about 30+ years now - in Florida.  It's been "interstate" for quite a while.

Chris I think I have a lot to learn from you!  You're a fluff gourmet!  LOL  While my Chris doesn't like peanut butter (hated the way it stuck to his mouth! heheheheh) he did like fluff.  So writing down the sundae sandwiches.  That sounds good when I need a chocolate sweet fix.

Fluffernutter sandwiches....mmmmm.... Take Fluff and PB and make a sammie out if it. The recipe is on the jar of Fluff. Also great if you shove some sliced banana in as well. HEAVEN!!

What is fluff? Is it that Kraft marshmallow creme stuff in in a jar used to make fudge?
