Variation on the World's Greatest Sandwich
« on: September 24, 2007, 12:00:04 PM »
So I just had a variation of the world's greatest sandwich and I thought I'd share, cause it's something you can easily make with what you more than likely have on hand in the kitchen. I fried two eggs overeasy, put the bread in the toaster, thinly sliced some cheese. Buttered the toast, put the cheese on one piece, the eggs on the other (do not break the yolk!). Then fried up thickly sliced peppered tomatos and heated up some lunch ham in the pan. Put some sweet hot mustard on the cheese side, topped it with the hot tomatoes and ham to melt the cheese, and put the two pieces together, eggs on top. Let it set for a moment before you do anything to it. Then, squish it and cut it down and let the egg yolk run then. Omg it is good. The Spanglish variation is even better (yes, I've made it loads of times).
