For anyone that likes Peeps...
« on: October 26, 2007, 07:11:16 PM »
Whittard of Chelsea have little marshmallow pumpkins covered in orange sugar.  They're a bit pricey at £3 a bag, but they're just like mini Peeps, but for Halloween!

I just took a look at the website & they're cheaper there than in store - I feel like a twat now!

I used to love peeps!  My ex put one in the microwave once just so he could watch it get bigger and bigger and then explode in on itself.

I did that every year!! I can't stand the taste of Peeps, so I always had to get my fun out of them some other way!  ;D

MMMmmMm peeps!

You know what's funny...I've never had peeps any other holiday BUT easter. I see the pumpkins and ghosts and have never had them.  :-\\\\

I don't like peeps either, but DB had his first Peeps this past Easter and liked them! They do seem to have them for every holiday now.

Yes, I know this has gone cold, but yet again I've found Peeps!   ;D

If you go to Poundworld (well, one of the multitude of pound shops anyway) they sell a package of mini-Peeps called "Hello Ducky!"

What's even more fun is Peep Battles. Right? You give each Peep a toothpick and shove them in the microwave.  Turn on the juice and see which one pops the other first. It's grand! I explained this peculiar US Ritual to friends of mine and they're like...

"Why doesn't this surprise me? You and playing with things!"

I love peeps, I leave them in the cupboard with the cellophane open so they get superhard, or I freeze them. I wish I had my sister bring some over for me. Ah well, when I go home next time surely there will be a holiday for Peeps!!
