I'm a root beer freak! Last time I was in Chicago I went to Wolfgang Puck's restaurant at O'hare and bought a nice cold bottle of rootbeer in a glass bottle. It was like heaven. Especially after a long flight!

I have tried the Sainsbury's brand and didn't find it too bad but don't even attempt the Asda crap! I've seen A&W on Ebay before but I think it was at a ridiculous price.

My sons are military dependents. If I weren't so lazy I would take the 40 min drive to the base and stock up on stuff like root beer.  ::)

I think root beer tastes like what I imagine germolene to taste like. Blech. But I know my hubby misses A&W. Especially the stuff on tap!

My boyfriend loves it, though he loves birch beer even more!

I remember being little and having a huge birch beer keg at the neighbor's pig roasts. And then when I got to university my friends were amazed that I was already an expert keg-tapper. :)

Birch beer! Yucky-poo!!! I tried it when I first moved here thinking maybe it was similar to root beer.

I find root beer only a bit more tolerable than Dr. Pepper which I hate.... it's up there with Mountain Dew on my "blech" list...

I used to love root beer floats as a kid, but I just don't like them that much any more.

I just find sodas in general too sweet to quench my thirst.

Those are all on my "blech" list! The only soda I can tolerate is ginger ale or ginger beer, and it had better be good and fiery!  ;D

Oh now I love ginger beer!
