Gourmet Apples
« on: November 01, 2007, 09:57:31 AM »
I've got a huge craving for those gorgeous gourmet apples.  You know, the ones with toffee, nuts and chocolate.

Does anyone have a good website for them here in the UK?

I know I've seen one on here before, but can't find it.

Mrs. Prindable's! Mrs. Prindable's! Mrs. Prindable's!!!!!

They don't ship to the UK ... believe me, I've looked into it. But maybe they sell through some other merchants who do ship over here. If you find out, please let me know!!

My dad bought me one of those last week and I ate so much that I couldn't fit it in!  And you cant take fruit on the plane so I was well and truly stuffed!  >:(

You people are torturing me :P

Anyone know if Harrods do them?  I'll be in London next week, I have a feeling they do.

What a brilliant site! Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of pre-ordering somethings for my stepmom for Thanksgiving!

I used to give them to lots of people as Christmas presents .... always making sure to order extra for myself!  ;)

I emailed them and asked about resellers here.  I might share that info with you if I hear back :P

I'm sure Stacey is right, though, and that there is or was someone doing them in the UK, or shipping here.

If not, someone ought to start a business making them!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Could you ship apples in though? If we're not allowed to bring them from the US, could a company be allowed???

Maybe someone should design a kit for making them up...

these seem to ship internationally, you have to get a total from them though.

you know this seems the type of thing that surely would be easy enough to make?
here are some recipes though

But really all you would need are apples, sticks, and toppings?
Ok maybe cellophane and ribbons, but how hard could it be?
You see gourmet apples I am confident on....mac and cheese???.... hahahha

Those look incredible! Where did you see something about international shipping, though? I can't find it.
