Edit Post Function

I'm no longer able to see the Edit function when I post.  However, I've seen where others have been editing their own posts recently, so it must still be present somehow.  I'd appreciate any help given, as I don't like to leave typos if I can correct them.  Thank you in advance.

If I remember rightly, you can edit posts within a certain time frame, but after that time has expired, the system will not allow further edits.

No problem here -- I can see the edit option on a post I made a little over 24 hours ago.
