DIY SOS, Buzzcocks, QI, How to Look Good Naked, Property Ladder, Ugly Betty, Eastenders, The Armstrong & Miller Show, University Challenge, Mastermind......

Not to mention FOOTBALL!

Having a hard time fitting in all my tv-watching, honestly!   ;D

And very happy to hear that 6 more episodes of Outnumbered has been commissioned!  Yeah!

That mention of To the Manor Born reminds me of the other show on right now that's good -- To the Manor Bowen. It follows the designer from Changing Rooms as he moves his family to a house in the country and begins remodeling. My husband doesn't care for reality TV, but even he enjoys this show.

Oh, I'm loving that!! A friend of mine comes over every week to watch it and we sit there in our Cath Kidston pinnies (just like Jackie Bowen's) while we get sozzled on wine watching TV!  ;D

Wait, they have to mean for this year right?  Then they will continue with the rest of the season sometime next year.  They are way to "hot" to only do a half season.

It honestly depends on how long the strike lasts.  Plus, the Screen Actors Guild is also up for a contract negotiation next spring/summer which could make it all even worse.  It is a possibility that next week's episode could be the last one until next fall.... or later.

A few shows that were to premiere later this season (24 and Lost) have announced that they won't air partial series.  From what I've read, they most likely will not air until next fall (or possibly summer).

It's all kinds of f*cked up. :-\\\\

Wow, I had no idea.  Well, I hope they settle soon, but hey, I also hope it goes the way of the writers.  I'll live :P  (Barely!)

Oh, that sounds so great! I've always wanted to do that with some show or another, but have never had a good girlfriend in my same town to do that with. That would've been so fun with Sex and The City, or a few other shows I can think of.

But what are pinnies? I looked it up, and they were sports vests.

I also have to add that I adore Laurence because he didn't "trade up" for a new wife. So many celebrities end up moving on to a younger, thinner wife once they get a bit of fame, but he's proving love will prevail by staying with his wife, who is a smart, strong, *real* woman (as in, not a toothpick). I love it.

pinnies = aprons (pinny is short for pinafore I think).

They are (as well).  They use them as easy ways to divide up teams if you don't have uniforms.

Sorry! Yes, as Britwife says, theyr'e aprons! I'd never heard sports vests called that before, though! You learn something new every day!

She may not be a toothpick, but she's gorgeous!! And totally glam! I want her clothes!

Dude, it's like the third season already!  It's really funny!  Oh I wish they were showing the whole series from the start!

What time/channel is To the Manor Bowen on again? I caught the first ep but have missed it since. :(

I like his wife and I really like him. He's not just faux designer, he really does have a lot of education and knowledge about design and design history. I don't always like his style, but I appreciate his efforts. Plus he's a real character!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
