Geneva

I'm off to Geneva tomorrow with some friends. We're just doing a shopping day trip. They have the international Christmas market going on right now. Has anyone ever been? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I love Geneva....

Be sure to wander around the old part of the city, very nice little cafes and shops.
The boat tour around Lake Geneva is very pretty.

and to eat...
I know this great restaurant, "Relais d'Entrecôte" and is opposite the "Jardin Anglais".

There is only one thing on the menu - Steak and Frites!   It is the best steak and fries in the world.  I think it is fairly pricey (maybe £20-25 per person for the meal and extra for wine and dessert). They do not take reservations and there is usually a queue outside right before opening time, so either get there right before noon or a little later - say 1:30-2:00.

oh that is a shame! I am sure you will have no problem spending your money elsewhere though. ;)
