US Visa approved, moving Dec 29th
« on: December 13, 2007, 05:56:55 PM »
I am so happy to announce that DH got his visa to the US approved today in London!! It was easy, took all morning and we froze outside for an hour, but it's all worthwhile :)

We plan to fly just after Christmas on Dec 29th, spending New Year's eve with my sisters in Phila, then onto Dallas on Jan 1st, perfect way to start the new year!

I really appreciate all the well wishes for his interview, we are both excited and happy to be moving, however, I will be very sad to leave for good.

Me too.  Who's going to make me hurt so good when you're gone?  :)

Trust me, neither can I!  :P I am more organized than I have ever been this Christmas and I think it's b/c I am avoiding doing much to do with the move b/c I am not that into it. Good thing is, we have to hire movers to do it since it's an international move :) I won't have to pack anything but my own bags for the next 2 months.

Congratulations :).

The US embassy visa appointments can be such a pain - I spent 4 hours there the other week for my interview!

Good luck with the move :).
