New Season of Torchwood
« on: December 28, 2007, 08:55:32 PM »
I was watching BBC tonight an I saw an advert for the BBC/Torchwood website so I went to the website an it says Season 2 of Torchwood starts this January. I didn't a time or day when it when it started though I'm just glad it is finally going to be back on at last yeah.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  I did a search for Torchwood but the last item I saw was about Dr Who which I know Torchwood is a spin off an that was from mid April of this year.

BBC America will start showing Torchwood Season 2 on 26 January.
The Doctor: Must be a spatio-temporal hyperlink.
Mickey: What's that?
The Doctor: No idea. Just made it up. Didn't want to say "magic door".

Yaye Torchwood!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  Only thing is, as I recall, it's usually on late & I'm falling asleep on the sofa by then...

Captain Jack is so scrummy! [smiley=smitten.gif]

And I think Dr Who starts again around Easter-time, DH was saying.

I thought it was cool when it first started but it's almost like Dr. who, just plain silly.  British sci fi could use some work for sure.  Anywho my wife watches it so I have no choice in the matter..

Ugh, really?  Do I bother you that much?  If the board can't take honesty and opinions then please by all means have me banned.  It really won't bother me any.  Talk about hypersensitive.  Delete this post if you'd like.  Honestly have me banned or just plain ignore me, I really don't care.

If I could delete your post, I would.
Personally, I don't think I am being oversensitive; I find you to be a self-involved INsensitive ________.

Let's not generalize and say ALL of your posts bother me; I only react on this thread in this way, because I find it sad and rude to dump crap on such a simple thing as someone's excitement over a TV series.

It bothers and disappoints me that it didn't occur to to you think how your post would actually ADD to this thread; in your fight for your right to express your opinion, you just theoretically walked in and urinated on it.

And hey, if it doesn't bother you to be banned, then by all means... you can find the exit on your own perhaps.

I'm super excited!!

I just finished Torchwood (series 1) tonight. Took me a surprising while to get through it, I think cos I get scared really easy. That said and done I was annoyed with self that I didn't cos it would have made this last series of Doctor Who a bit better.

Love Doctor Who, but emo-DT wasn't my cup of tea, I have to say... though they definitely rallied for a cracking finale, I still missed the happy fun times in series two.

It's too bad BBC America will cut Torchwood criminally, same as with DW. I download the shows so I can watch them right away.. but then I end up watching them on tv also.  :D It's awesome that there's literally no time between the UK and US airing. Unlike with Doctor Who. *ahem*

Hubby has got to figure out how to use the DVD.

I am crossing everything that I don't miss the next three weeks' worth of episodes!
