Cinnamon Twists....

Just like Taco Bells!  We were at an asian grocers yesterday, and I came across some 'puff pasta', although it wasn't called that. I thought it looked like puff pasta though, and when I checked the back of the package, the cooking instructions said to deep fry for ten to twelve seconds. YAY!! I knew then what it was. I was so excited, the only difference from taco bell's is that it's multicolored. I got the twist shapes, and fried some up today, sprinkled it with a cinnamon sugar mixture......totally yummy! Just like a taste of home! My son loved them too. I have no idea what they are supposed to be used for though. Other than cinnamon twists I mean. Whatever, they made me happy!

i bought something like that in Sainsburys lately... it was called 'cinnamon straws' and they were kind of like churros, but a bit crunchier.

Were they like cheese straws, but with cinnamon instead of cheese? If so, they should be really easy to make! 

yes!   i may have to make them someday, cos Sainsbury's only sell them at Christmastime, i think.
