California to Manchester!

Hi Guys,
   
   looks like we will be in the UK the 27th of April for good. Very nervous but very excited at the same time. Is there anybody else out there from the Manchester area?? If so maybe we could arrange a get together like the Southerners do on this board.

UKMisGirl,
I will be moving to Manchester this fall! I am heading over there tomorrow for 5 days to check it out, and get a feel for the city. My boyfriend is from the area and that is where we've decided to settle.
Please keep in touch, as I would love to hear how you are adjusting, etc..

Thanks guys for all of the warm welcomes, you sure are a friendly bunch!
I just booked and paid for our flight today, makes it seem even a little more real. Can't wait, I'm 6.5 months pregnant and my daughter is going to born in the UK which is also cool, as all of my family is there  ;D
