I was aware of this programe and the fact that it has won awards and stuff but i had never bothered watching it (all looked a bit chavtastic to me) till last night. What a laugh - very funny, very gritty and  sails very close to the wind on a lot of subjects but i thoroughly enjoyed it. Any one else a fan?

I watched it faithfully until James McAvoy & Anne Marie Duff left the programme, and then i feel it went a bit stale.

Yes....I didn't like the idea of it at first but some friends at work kept mention during the 1st series.....the series got rerun and I started watching.

I think the earlier series are better than the current one.

When DF was over a few weeks ago we watched an episode....I was intrigued as to how she'd view this very British programme....she found it interesting.

Me too, although I have watched a couple of episodes this series and there's every chance i'll get sucked into it again.
