I will be forever indebted to anyone who can answer this question with a store name. I have missed sausage patties more than I ever thought I would.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

I found a sausage patty at Waitrose, I think they are organic.  They come packaged 4 in a plastic tray.  I just smash them down a bit as they are quite thick and take a long time to cook that way.  They are as close as I can find to an American sausage patty as they are not full of bread crumbs and fillers.

Alternatively you can just take the outside casing off of the sausage link and make into a patty but I still find the Waitrose ones taste better.

I found a bag of sausage meat on asda.com.   Just search for "sausagemeat" all one word

Can make them into patties! ;D

I've also bought sausage meat from butchers. It'll come in a tube. If you're really stuck and desperate though, there's nothing to stop you from taking the meat out of your favorite links and making patties from that!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

That's what I was going to say. Just buy normal sausages, pierce and pull off the casing, and make them into whatever shape and thickness you like.

I like to make sausage balls at Christmas time that calls for Jimmy Dean sausage. I tried to make it with the sausage but it didn't tast the same. So I did a search for a copy cat recipe and found this.

I'm not sure where I found it but here you go:

Jimmy Dean Sausage

Sage
16 ounces ground pork
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon coriander
1/4 teaspoon MSG (such as Accent flavor enhancer)

Hot
16 ounces ground pork
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon coriander
1/4 teaspoon MSG (such as Accent)

Maple
16 ounces ground pork
3 tablespoons maple flavored syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon MSG (such as Accent)
1/4 teaspoon coriander Combine all ingredients for the flavor of your choice
in a medium bowl. Form the sausage into patties and cook in a skillet over
medium heat until brown. Makes 1 pound of sausage.

Most grocery stores sell frozen rolls of sausage meat, however I've never bought it on its own as it'll just go uneaten (or I'll end up eating it all myself) in our house.   :-\\\\

We always have what my mum simply calls 'sausage meat' as part of Christmas Dinner - I think it's similar to the sausage balls above, except it's cooked flat on a baking tray (more like a cake rather than individual patties) and has onions on top - it's cut into squares for serving.

This thread is just making me crave my friend's mom's sausage balls - which have just three ingredients:

Jimmy Dean sausage
Cheese Whiz
Bisquick

Of course all three of them are virtually impossible to obtain (here, anyway - I know some folks have found Bisquick in various shops but I haven't!).

I wouldn't touch any of the three alone, but together?  Manna from heaven!
