This is a report, more than a question.. went to Dover on Saturday, walked along the cliffs, watched the ferries, had a nice time.. then drove into town to find a pub.
Maybe we found the bad part of town, but that was a mistake. It was before 6pm, the streets were full of really drunk young people (we were only offered one fight, though)and dodgy-looking older folk(not sure if truly dodgy). Most of the businesses were boarded up. The shopping mall was permanently closed. Nice burned out church near the pub we picked. Where the food looked dismal and the beer was full of sediment.
What's up with Dover? Where is the decent part of town?
