TSA deploys airport behavior screeners

Very interesting.

In Israel upon exit, you queue up and are questioned by staff who ask you the usual questions... how long have you been here, what purpose, do you know anyone, anyone give you anything... and then you x-ray all your checked luggage which could get bounced and hand searched. Then you queue up to check in and drop your bag. Next is passport control and a few more questions. Then queue up again for carryon screening and passenger metal detector with possible frisking and hand search of carry on luggage.

Many US airports are not big enough for this style of security but it will be very interesting to see how they introduce this type of screening. Profiling most certainly has to be a part of it!

To to all of those people who cry at airports, just a gentle heads ups that security is getting tougher! 

I definitely agree with the ACLU guy who said that this was basically just profiling under a different name.  Plus, what if you're acting shifty and suspicious because you're feeling guilty about having just cheated on your boyfriend?  That's not against the law, and it's certainly not a threat to air travelers.

I was once screened for a few hours in Israel.  They were most definitely profiling me.  It was a bizarre experience being under such heavy scrutiny.  Eventually, I was able to go--luckily I had gone to the airport very early assuming that I might need more time. 

To be honest I assumed most major airprots would have this. When I worked for the NZ government I got to go behind the two way mirrors at Auckland Airport and sit with the team there who were observing people's behaviour. Very interesting!

I learned to take off my sunglasses indoors. Sunglasses = extra questioning.

At my age, I was flattered to be considered dangerous.
