Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain.
Recorded the series last week off Blighty, just watched the episode covering the 1960's through to the fall of the Heath government in 1973. Very interesting and well presented, now covering things I can remember!!!

Watched part 4 last night - Thatcher, the Falklands, the Miners strike, the poll tax riots.
Quite apt as today is the 25th anniversary of the start of the miners strike.....time for me to re-read The Enemy Within I think.


I'm sure that DW must think we did nothing but riot against authority in the 70's and 80's!
