Att: American musicians living/working in the UK
« on: May 13, 2004, 06:09:12 PM »
My name is Rick. I'm an American singer/songwriter living/working in Germany.  I'm very interested in coming into contact with American pro musicians who are liiving and or working in the UK.  I need advise on my situation and only you guys can give it to me, because you're presumably already there doing it!  Please help me out if you can by responding to this mail.  You'll have done your good deed for the day!
                 thanks, rick

Well Rick I can't help you much on the music front but wanted to say welcome!  There are some people on various types of visas that might be of help.  Try posting in the Visa section

Welcome again!

Welcome Rick!  :D

I can't really help with the musician bit either but from what I understand the musician visa is a bit difficult to get. A (US) friend of mine whose band has a major label release didn't qualify for it to come to the UK. Your situation may be different but good luck regardless!  :)
