Its difficult, but I think the way things are going Labour may not get in again for a while the trouble is are the next lot going to be the same...

Well, exactly.  I wouldn't say that the Tories are going to be any better when it comes to socially progressive policies and in fact they will probably be worse.  There's not much of a choice when it comes to the parties here, in terms of the parties who can be viable majorities. :(

There are choices but people over the years have made it 2 parties by continuing to vote for those too parties so thats what happens, the same as if you use the same car company or any other businesses they corner the market and then its great now we can change the product cut corners and put up costs no one will complain or go with the 2 or 4 or  other companies because they all think they are rubbish, but if no ones really tried them how do we know?

The Tories generally believe in low taxation, scrapping inheritance tax (or at least raising the threshold further) and I don't think that they support means testing for care, but I am not sure.

I don't intend to vote in the next election, but I agree that sometimes you just need to vote for change and pray!
