Another good NHS dentist experience

I'm terrible with going to the dentist. I just hate them. In the 7+ years I've been here, I've gone twice!  :o :o But somehow I get away with it... I've never had a cavitie here, only had to have old fillings replaced.

That said, when we went yesterday I was worried... but he was a fabulous dentist. My in-laws have been going to this practice in Newcastle for years. The 2 main dentists are private (one is a dental professor, too). But they also have an NHS guy who I saw. He did a thorough check, x-rays, and a scale and polish. He told me that whatever I'm doing, I'm doing right but I'll try not to wait another 4 years next time!

That's good to know. Are you going to give him a name check so people in the area know who to go to or is he a well kept secret?

TBH, not sure if they are taking more NHS patients. They *may* have taken us as a family favor. I'll find out and if so, post the name.
