Is the frog gone, Becca?

The frog was still hiding out where he hopped to when Tim came home at 6am, so Tim was able to catch it and release it outside. We haven't seen it since, so we assume it found it's way back to it's home.

I'm back and too tired for words. It was a great trip. Maybe I'll have the energy to write more later. At the moment, it's not even 9:00 yet and I'm already contemplating if I can get away with going home sick...er, ill...er... whatever!

No fair!  Its 72 degrees here today!  What a lame excuse for winter this has been.  This is Colorado - we are supposed to get snow in the winter and be able to wear hats and scarves, but not this year.  BOOO!!

Glad you had a great time in Vegas, Chi!

Horray for it being March!

Lets see... its about 8:30pm in England, so Josy should be surprising her friends right about now, or already did.  That must have been super fun!  The looks on their faces would be priceless!!

If you were wondering, yes we tied the knot on Saturday and it was an absolutely fantastic day. We both really loved the whole thing from start to finish! The webcam at the registry office meant family from Denver could watch the ceremony but a technical hitch with sound meant we had to use a mobile phone to allow them to hear it, family and friends in Wyoming, New Mexico, California and Bagdad all got to watch though!

My new wife looked absolutely beautiful and she made me very proud to become her husband. The actual ceremony was a giggly affair for the both us and over far too quickly as was the day. The weather for February was good so we got lots of photo's taken inside and outside and just need to collect them all in from friends. The evening meal and drinks afterwards at Crewe Hall was a perfect end to the day and everyone who came to enjoy our day with us all said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

So now we're going to spend the week together, we are off to the seaside tomorrow for the day and travel to Sheffield on Wednesday to get Jamie's FLR visa once thats done we can start to focus ALL our attention on "Kermit's" arrival in 7 months time!

That's all for now just wanted to let you know where we're at and to thank you for the messages too.

Oh, Alan...I'm SO GLAD things went beautifully.  Wish I could've been home watching the ceremony, but unfortunately, I had to work.  Have fun at the sea side, and Jamie, good luck with your FLR!!!

Will be seeing you in a few months time! xx

Ummm....72 degrees today, Carey?  Geezie!  Even Beth had a snow day today, and it's supposed to be warm where she is!  lol  We've not really had any snow...a bit fell today, but NOTHING compared to normal winters here in NE Ohio...and nothing even stuck.

Carey, I think you and I might be the only ones living in the South.  Oh well....at least we won't be too far away from each other.  Hope a train and go to Chipotle in London together.  Hen night plans, btw...so far is just going out to the bars.  My friends are doing all the planning.....all I have to do is show up.

When I lived in the States I somewhat lived close to you ColdKaramaGrl I'm originally from Indiana Go Hoosiers.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Hi everyone. Had a fun snow day off school today, but ended up going into to work at the shop. Was fine, but I'd rather have stayed in my pj's! lol

Congrats Jamie and Alan! Woo! How exciting that it's *official* now!! It's for real!!

Chi- can't wait to hear about Vegas. Did ya win anything??

Ok, it's already 10:00 and I never went back to sleep after they called me this morning at 5:45 to tell me there was no school. D'oh! I was so excited I've been running on adrenaline. Now reality is setting in and I have to go to work tomorrow. Boooooooo. And it's a 12 hr day. Oh well. I will have fun playing with my new ipod. I even downloaded an app that lets you plan what you want to pack for trips. I think I'll start an "England 2009" list. :) Less than 3 months now! Woo!

Have a great night folks!!

Hello all, I am back. Went home early yesterday and got a much needed nap, then proceded to get my visa things in order as much as possible before getting DH's paperwork (which should get here today or tomrrow **fingers crossed**). Still pretty tired (almost slept in through work today!! YIKES!), but I'm here and the day isn't seeming nearly as long as it was by this time yesterday.

Jamie and Alan, YAY!! Congratulations. The day does go by super fast, doesn't it?? Everyone told me it would, and it did. Our ceremony was the shortest one on the face of the earth I think. Or close to it. Everyone commented on how short it was. But that was just fine with me. All those people staring at me for that long made me nervous. Glad you didn't throw up or faint down the isle Jamie!! :)

Vegas was super fun. We got hooked up. And I mean HOOKED. UP. We had 2 connecting suites at the Venetian, and got to get room service, and a spa service. I hot a hot rock massage. And OMG. The spa is amazing. So zen and peaceful. I could for sure just live in that hotel and never leave. Oh, and the shopping!!! I didn't buy anything, but there was Tiffany's and Barney's and Christian Louboutin, and it goes on and on. We went to Tao one night, but I'm not a big clubber and the people in there were pissing us off when they started cramming in to get close the the Steelers Quarterback. So we left then. Spent most of the weekend relaxing and walking around. I'm not a big gambler either, but I did play the Wheel of Fortune slots and actually did win a bit. The funny thing was I didn't even know it! I spun and one of my friends next to me grabbed my leg and was like "oh my gosh!" and just stared. I was like, what? I didn't get the spin! Then I noticed that it said "cash hand payout $1,500". YAY! My other friend had put the money in that I played on so we split it. That totally made the trip. Cut out alll guilt on any money I had spent to that point. But yes, I have definitely been spoiled and will never be able to stay anywhere less posh than that. We walked around the strip and all the other hotels and crazy drunk people were too unsettling for me to be there longer than a little bit. Saw a few famous people, no one really big. Nascar was in town, so the airport coming back was craaaazy. So yeah. I think that covers most of the high points.
