I lost my gorgeous cat tonight

I am so beyond devastated, we had to have our beautiful kitty Suki put down tonight as she suddenly got sick with acute renal failure, it was awful and we feel absolutely terrible about it, but it was the right thing to do, she clearly was halfway there, so we helped her along. She was so beautiful and we loved her so so so much. We have had her since she was a tiny baby and she was only 8 years old.

She's gorgeous. I'm so sorry. Pets are family members and losing one is so difficult.  :\\\'(

P.S.  I know it's a horribly horribly sad thing to lose a pet, but I just wanted to let you know that her sweet little 'Got Milk' face did give me a smile. I hope you have loads of happy memories.

I am so sorry about Suki. I too lost a furry friend to acute renal failure he was only 9 years old. It was quite sudden as well. He had lost 5 pounds in 2 days and was in great pain, like you I had to euthanize him as well. I still miss that little monster and it's been 7 years now. His name was Scotty.

Thanks so much everyone! I have been crying all night and feel so horrible, she was so fluffy and gorgeous.

She was so incredibly beautiful! As a lifelong cat lady I know there is nothing anyone can say that will hlep right now, but I am so sorry.  :\\\'(
