I am a U.S. Citizen, and my spouse is a naturalized U.S. Citizen.  We moved to the UK 2 years ago, and expect to move back next year.  We don't need to do anything special, just go?  right?

Yes, he has a job there, yes, we have a house there.

If you are both US citizens you don't have to do anything, or prove anything, you can come and go as you please!
