Well, with three little kids, our plans are to watch Only An Excuse and Still Game, then the Hogmanay celebrations in Glasgow and Embra on TV, drink ale (DH) and wine (me), eat cocktail sausages and loads of junk food, then go to bed.

We'll be back in Scotland for the first time in a year. We'll probably celebrate it the way we usually do, either out in Glasgow or in Oban. Can't wait.
Plans on hold 'cuz Brexit

We'll probably be at home- all our friends are split up into different small parties and I'd prefer to stay home rather than be at a party where I know maybe 2 people or hopping from party to party to see everyone.

Celebrating hubby's birthday at our friendly neighborhood pub. Had a great time there last night, singing carols!  :)

you see a lot of folk round here on the pavement on New Year's day, bags of coal or wood and slim paper bags with bottles of whisky in hand, first-footin' it.

We're not sure yet. We might be down at DB's father's house.

After a very stressful Christmas filled with lots of family drama on both sides, bf and I are spending nye together at his house. I'm really looking forward to enjoying a nice quite evening together.  :)

We are going to a party at a friends house, it starts at 8 and there will be about 25 toddlers running around, hopefully by midnight the adults will be suitably drunk, and the toddlers will all be asleep in a heap on the floor!
