These are basically alcoholic milkshakes.  Strawberry Shortcake and Mudslide are the best!

I thought Advocat was an alcoholic milkshake??

After a bit of research: "Advocaat is a liqueur made from a rich and creamy blend of egg yolks, aromatic spirits, sugar and brandy with a hint of vanilla. It has a smooth and full-bodied taste. There are two varieties of Advocaat. The "thick" Advocaat which is sold mostly on the Dutch market and eaten with a spoon, and the more liquid "export" version. Thick Advocaat also contains egg white, and is used as an ingredient for all kinds of desserts, for instance with ice-creams and pastries. It is also served as an aperitif or digestif. The traditional way to serve it is in a wide glass with whipped cream and cocoa powder sprinkled on top."

It's vile. (she says with way too much knowledge of it)
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Wahaca isn't much like Chipotle at all.

Now, places like Mucho Mas are almost identical - I think someone said there was another Chipotle-esque joint in Westfield mall now.

I don't really care if it's an original Chipotle or what, they just need one of those joints in south London - why are they all a mega-trek from my house? :P

There's a pretty good Mexicanish place in Balham called Tacuba.

Is it a sit-down restaurant or counter-service type place like Chipotle?

It is more like a bar which also serve meals. I live quite close by and we stopped there once, but I go to the Mucho Mas/Tortilla in Angel more often mainly because my husband prefers the burrito bar type style place more often than a sit down Mexican meal. Portions were a bit small but the food was tasty.

Normally I am not a fan of chain type of restaurants, especially when it comes to Mexican...but..Chipolte is really good and all natural and organic.  I think this is awesome news.

I live on Bedford Hill...  Tacuba is literally just down the road from me.  Where do you live, supercarrie?  I haven't gone there, it didn't seem to impress me and I didn't want to be disappointed.  My partner went one night and said it wasn't worth it.  It is mostly drinks and what appeared to be your standard London "Mexican" food.  I swear if I see chips (french fries) on another "Mexican" menu, or get served Doritos and Salsa, I WILL SCREAM.  Jalapeno Poppers are NOT MEXICAN food.  Basically it seem to be an excuse to get pissed on taquila.

I am going to have to try out Mucha Mas.  We are always around Angel due to being Arsenal fans and enjoying parts of Islington quite a lot.
