Help! Need International Collect Operator!!

Hi,

This morning an ATM at work ate my US-based ATM card

HSBC's website says call collect, so I dialed 0800-Reverse and they couldn't do an int'l collect.  So i called the BT international operator at work and they can't.  They put me thru to 08008830562 and they couldn't.

I called Three (my mobile company) and they gave me 0500890456 and 0800890928 and neither of them work.

Normally I'd just wait until this evening when I get home and just call the US for free, but I need this sorted immediately.  Does anyone know a reliable international collect operator?

155 if you have a BT line. Had to call my bank in US several times. Just dialed 155, said I needed to place a collect call to the United States. Worked like a charm.

155 is the general BT International Operator who should be able to make a collect call to most places, although the rates are extortionate, so call your bank that way if you wish, but don't use it for calling friends & family!

You can also access AT&T services direct from the U.K. by dialing 0800-890011 (or 0500-890011 - both are free).   Dial the U.S. number as usual at the prompt (with or without "1" prefix), do nothing when it asks for your calling card number and PIN, then you'll be given the option to say "Collect" at the next prompt.
