I've never seen them at my Sainsbury's in Bath and I look all the time. The Bird's Eye brand are the ones I got at Waitrose. Your local oriental supermarket is a good idea. I think my housemate said he saw them there.

On a forum supposedly filled with unhelpful, non-beneficial advice (  ::) ) discovering edamame was one of the best things I've ever learned on UKY!
I'd never heard of it by this name before and never knowingly eaten them (even if they were called soyabeans!), but now i order it everytime I go for sushi and LOVE it!
My friend Grant, who i last went for sushi with, wasn't convinced, though... he tried a few, but didnt like them, so i got the whole bowl to myself!  :)

Mmm, they're really brill on their own or thrown into a stiry-fry or something.  The frozen ones (tesco does an own-brand) are very convenient.

Sainsbury's definitely has the frozen ones.  They're called Bird's Eye Soya Beans.

Thank you! I had looked up soy beans and edamame, but nothing. SoyA beans turned up some  8)
