Granada, Spain

Hi all, here's a couple pics from our trip to Granada. Once someone tells me how to do it, I will have these set up so everytime you refresh, you'll see new ones. I'll add more commentary over the next few days.

Aww.. it looks like Phoenix!    I have the urge to go somewhere.. either Italy or Spain.  Is Granada near the coast??

Well, we flew to Malaga which is on the coast - it's the start of the Costa del Sol which is a hugely popular UK tourist destination. Not my cup of tea for more than a day or so. Granada is about an 1:45 minute drive inland. No beach but if your hotel had a pool, it would be pretty cool. The DF and I aren't huge beachy people (despite living within spitting distance of one!) so opted for the city break. If you had the time, I'd recommend a couple days at each area. I think I've heard that Marbella on the Costa del Sol is one of the better areas.

We've also been to Rome but want to go to Naples and the Amalfi coast.
