LOST fans ... Anyone left??? [Warning: spoilers]
« on: February 17, 2009, 01:55:14 AM »
Since this season we are  right close  to each other.. US  vs. UK fans  I was wonderong  if anyone is  still watching and wants to share in the  frustration/ excitement/ theories/ boredom  etc. of this season..
I finally got all caught up  as I was waiting for this season to start.. I just hope the  time flashes thing end soon because they are  VERY  frustrating and I  don't even know what  'now'  is  anymore.. It seems to  be  two differnt things for the people on the island and the people  back  'home'...

Yes, I am still obsessed - I end every episode with my jaw on the floor saying "what just happened??"
I'm in the US... are the viewers in the UK seeing the same episodes now?  I dont want to spoil anything by talking about the show if we are further ahead...

Me, me , me!!!  And I'm so glad I am!  I've been loving the last two seasons especially. (I love time travel stuff)

We see the episode the Sunday after you see it in the US. (So only four days really)

I read somewhere from the producers that the time travel "theme" won't last forever... thank god.

Still hooked, although we missed season 4 and have been renting the dvds and watching those episodes along with the new ones in an effort to catch up. Surprisingly, we have been able to follow along pretty well considering. I think it's because we caught that season 4 synopsis and season finale that came on before season 5 started. Our last disc of season 4 got lost in the post, so hopefully we will get that one tonight and can finally be totally caught up, and since we recorded all of season 5 so far, we can re-watch them if we need to.  ;)

Count me in! The fiance and I are still riveted, we download them the morning after they're shown in the US.  ;)

The real big shocker was when **** (there's no spoiler tags on this forum, where you only read it if you hover over, argh!) turned out to actually be alive! And the young Rousseau was so baby faced then, too...

It's funny, my doctor told me yesterday to be on the lookout for nosebleeds (long story) and ring her immediately, and all I could think of was Charlotte, et al with the time travel.  :)

My husband and I are big losties, he can't wait until Sunday so he downloads it so we can watch it on Thursday. I just love the whole thing, I'm not looking for answers, just enjoying the ride!

I'm still obsessed and love the show, but I'm sick of the time flashes. Getting cheesy and freaking annoying. Enough already.

So do you think they'll flash to the time when the Black Rock (that big pirate ship) is on the island, or do you reckon that's just there from when the island changed position and came up underneath it as a shipwreck on the ocean floor?

Given up on it and not bothered with this series.....just felt it was getting far too drawn out and it was feeling like a chore to watch it.

I am just so happy that Jin is alive!  That storyline was breaking my heart!

I think the timeflashes will get further between now that Charlotte is dead - I think they just had to have a bunch to show the effects it has on the people on the island.  I am intrigued about if Miles has indeed been on the island before... in last week's episode, Daniel said that he thinks that the nosebleed thing was happening faster to those who have spent more time on the island and Miles said he hadnt been there before and Daniel's response was "are you sure?".   How are these people going back and forth??  I guess we are about to find out!!

It's just gotten so much better IMO the last two series.  I really enjoyed last year.  I often tease my husband that he "Gave up" to soon.  Sad.  But I'm glad we all stuck it out.

I hope you are right!  I understand the reason for it all, but it is getting a bit much. (As everyone has been saying)  I love that we learn something new every week, and no amount of guessing helps.  It's always unexpected and that makes it all the more exciting. ;D

Miles intrigues me, that he can talk to the dead.

And So, so, soooo happy Jin is alive, I love him and Sun!
