My hotel room was out of water for four hours! No sink, no toilet, no shower. I guess I could understand it if there was an unplanned incident like a water main break but there isn't. They are doing extensive remodeling and this is part of their construction schedule.
I feel like they are cheating me. They new in advance that they couldn't provide basic services but still took everyone's money and booked them in like it was no big deal. They passed a note under the door apologizing in advance for the 'water glitch.'
I would ask for a free night...but as it is a business trip, the savings would just go to my employer. I do feel alot better having written this...this Grievances forum is quite therapeutic.
