anyone in or around Edinburgh?

I've had a few other posts on this site, but I thought I'd try one more!
My family and I will be moving to the Edinburgh area in the next 2 years, and we were hoping to make some contacts there before we move.  We will be out visiting schools & neighborhoods sometime next spring.
If there's anyone out there who would care to give us some info or would even like to meet up with us when we get there, any help would be appreciated!!!

PS, my "family" is myself, husband, our 13 year old daughter, and hopefully 1 more addition!

Actually, our family is planning on moving to Edinburgh in August 2009. We are a family of 3. We have a 4 yr. old daughter who will begin primary school in August.
