Ireland Coach Tour Company - any recommendations
« on: March 26, 2009, 10:27:09 AM »
My 85 and 83 year old grandmothers (one belongs to me, one belongs to my husband) are now officially coming to visit my husband and me in May.  One of the things my grandmother wants to do is see Ireland, as that's where her father is from.

I'd like to do a short (4-5 days) bus tour with the grammas, because I just think that the experience would be better for all of us (less stress for my husband and me, some extra company for the grammas as a "buffer", etc).  I've been looking at CIE tours; they have a "7" day Irish adventure tour that seems to fit the bill (first two days and last day are travel days, so it truly is a 4 day tour) but the coach itself doesn't have toilets, which is a concern of mine since my gramma seems to need to go every hour (chronic kidney failure)

Does anyone have any suggestions for other companies I might check out?  Mega-bonus points if they specialize in senior travel.
