Right. At the moment, we've got two options:
1. A pub in York (checked out by persephone)
2. A cafe here in Stockton (which serves food until 2:30 - after that, we could decamp to mine)
I'm fine with either - mainly, I'm just being selfish and thinking that I'd just like to stick a bit closer to home than Harrogate or Leeds this time round, as while I love both places the travel time usually means that the entire day is spent doing book group things, which is great on one level but sucks on a "this is my first Saturday off in weeks" level.
(York is a much more manageable trip for me, which means that Option #1 isn't necessarily out.)
So really it depends on A) who's planning to come and B) where you'd like to meet!
I know the book is quite long this month, and that as the weather gets nicer most of us have less time and/or motivation to read
but as usual I expect that the meeting will only really be 20% book discussion and 80% catching up/chat/etc. so don't feel that not having read the book will preclude you from attending this month's meeting!
I'm headed back to work in a few minutes but I'll check back tonight and see how things are looking...
