If memory serves me right, there was some refusal for entry because they thought Foxy's boyfriend was looking for work, Foxy, then you went to the States and got married, but your husband then was refused because they didn't believe him that he wasn't just using you to come over and find a job and didn't believe your relationship to be genuine in part because of the previous refusal and UKBA sat in judgement in the rather significant age gap between Foxy and her husband, or something along those lines.
Any details you could fill in in the process from how you understand it would be of great benefit to future generations. In particular I am curious about the actual process you went through. It also goes to show that for family based visas, where there is a will there is a way. I am just sorry you have had to go through the ups and downs of what basically boils down to age discrimination and people passing personal judgements on what constitutes love.
