Man, I want a package!!!!  I remember being in sleepaway camp four summers in a row!!!  Getting the weekly packages from my mom was always a treat!  She would hide all the candy well so I could keep it;)  * weeks without candy and junkfood is forever for a 11 to 14 year old!!!

Now I just want sugar-free stuff and my fav magazines.  Maybe a few tapes of GH would be nice!!!  Hmmm, I should email my mom!!!!

There's 2 packages from my mother in today's post...of course, the lion's share is usually for the kids.  But I get my bits, too.  ;)

*sigh* I'd love a care package like that!

Aww hun. I'm jealous. However, I have a package winging it's way to me as we speak and it's got birthday gifts! Whee. Oh, and tootsie rolls. Mom never forgets the tootsie rolls.  ;D

You are all making me very jealous!!!  Too bad you can't send sushi!  I know my mother would if she could!!!  I wish she would send my magazines and books though!  She keeps going away for business so I'll never get anything.

(BTW, I don't know how obsessed anyone else is, but Banana Republic is starting their summer sale tomorrow, just an FYI.)

Ummmm, I don't live anywhere near a decent sushi place... so I made my own! It's not that hard though getting it to look as perfect as at a suchi bar is a bit harder! I did California rolls. I wouldn't do them every day, but it did cure a craving!  ;D

Ooh!  California rolls!  I thought I hated them for ages.. then I had a strong craving for them for about 2 weeks straight, so even though I'd tried them before and thought I didn't like them, I got some anyway.  Like you.. not something I would have every day, but I discovered that they're quite yummy from time to time.  :)

very envious of your care package...I have gotten two of them since i moved here in november...but the peanut butter went too quickly... i miss my peanut butter toast...but guessing it does not miss my hips...or i should say my hips are not missing the peanut butter...  ok, gotta stop thinking of peter pan 8 essential vitamins...

I miss my chai tea every evening before bed...  oh, another thing my hips could do without...  oh well, guess not getting my care packages too often is good for my health...LOL

Peanut butter, espcially if you like the natural kind, is a great breakfast on really good wholemeal toast. If you have it in moderation (i.e. don't pile it on the bread!) it can be just fine. Nuts are an essential part of the diet! When I was thinner and losing weight  I had a small piece of wholemeal toast with a thinnish layer of pb and half a banana. Yum!

You can do good low cal caffeine free chai, too. Let me know if you want a recipe!  ;D

Twinnings has chai tea. Really lovely. And Starbucks has you one can get iced or hot. I prefer iced.

yea, PB can be very good for you...  and I have done well with it on weight loss before...but my craving for good PB now would not work well with just a thin spread of it... ;D

of course i wish for a recipe for chai...please please! (on hands and knees now with tongue hanging out in desire) :P

Yeah! I got a package, too! I knew mom was sending some ProActiv stuff that I had ordered but she also put in mini Oreos (yay but not good for the diet!), a popsicle mold, and Kool Aid!

Yay mom!
