Hell's Kitchen
« on: April 14, 2009, 09:19:19 AM »
Anyone watching this?  I do love Marco - and loathe him at the same time!  He's always interesting, i'll say that. With his huge scarf on his head last night and bullying Ms Dynamite..

And what happened to Linda Evans? She looks like Mickey Rourke from the side! :-X

I recorded it and am going to watch it this morning! Can't wait to see Linda Evans!!

I agree with you about Marco. It's definitely a love/hate thing here too.

OMG what has she done to her face?!?! She looks awful!

Poor Ade. I don't think he deserved what he got. I think he might be my favourite.

I watched it last night, but was a little disappointed. I've only watched Hell's Kitchen USA, and so I was looking forward to a similar show, but maybe with less theatrics from Gordon Ramsey (I love him in the UK shows, but he puts on more of an act in the US ones, I think.) So yeah, I had no idea he wouldn't be in this one, but that wasn't the main thing. Really, I just don't get the UK obsession with Z-list actors, so I guess that is part of it, I would much rather see regular people who are aspiring chefs try to win the competition (more like Masterchef or the US version of Hell's Kitchen).
But yeah, Linda Evans did look dead scary with those crazy lips. What's up with aging actors and their attempts to look like Bo Selecta?!

Linda Evans looked awful with her big bloated lips and all her cosmetic surgery...she used to be beautiful why did she do that...I watched it last night and I admit I got sucked in...I don't think Marco likes Naomi at all....and I think he favors Danielle...Marco is just a little weird and egotistical...there he is talking about celebrities and talking about their ego's when he thinks his poop doesn't stink...but I admit he is a little scarier then Gordon (although I love Gordon)

Yep, he's mine too. And he's seen right thru that twit Grant as well. What a nob.

this is the first time I have ever seen this Anthea and Grant...and is it just me or do they just seem so stuck up? they are competitive with each other and with other people...I don't have a good feeling about them...maybe I am totally wrong..

Anthea used to be the host on the morning show on ITV with Eammon Holmes...He supposedly hated her guts (!) She's always come across somewhere between prissy and trying to be the girl next door.  She had an affair with Grant and they left their spouses to be together and she got a lot of stick for it, going from girl next door to home wrecker.  Then she had a show on some obscure channel about how to have the perfect household and fold your sheets properly  ::)

Nothing wrong with that!  ;D

I kind of like her, tbh. She's no Ade, but I do like her.

It was great last night. Grant was such a t*at and I was chuffed he got to play waiter for the night....  I really don't get why people are scared of MPW..he always appears to have a twinkle in his eye.. can you really take him seriously as he's tapping a knife on the counter? It's just a bit of over-acting IMO.

Another horrific dress for Claudia. Her simpering routine towards Marco is just pukey now. I miss Angus. :-\\\\

I am still watching...I didn't see it last year but I am hooked this year...I am glad Anthea and Grant are gone but I must admit I teared up a little when Bruce left...I thought he would win....who do you think will win?

I think it's great how they all get on so well. And Marco is just a big pussycat now.  He's fab.
I'd like Danielle to go next. I'd be happy with either Linda or Ade.

I love Claudia!! And I really love her clothes too! She's always been one of my idols! I wish she presented every TV programme!

I'd be happy with either Linda or Ade.

I wouldn't be happy with Linda, but I have a horrible feeling she's going to win. I can't stand looking at her face and I wish she'd gone days ago.  >:(

Come on, Ade!
