Result! I got my spousal visa!

I found out late this afternoon that my spousal visa has been approved and I should have it in hand tomorrow. A very good day!

Thanks for all your words of support! And a big thank you to Vicky for being my official immigration specialist! I just wish I had come to you when the immigration solicitor told me there was no way for me to apply without my husband having a job. I could have saved myself ten weeks of heartache. But I'm just so happy to know I'll be going home soon!

I have a question --- since I just took photos for my fiance visa.  Once I eventually get my spouse visa will I be required to have another photograph taken?

If you're talking about biometrics, yes, you'll need to go for that appointment again. If you're applying for the two visas within 6 months, they should be considered recent. I forget if the application form gives a more specific clarification of recent.
