Is it possible to just block certain threads?

I know I can block entire forum sections, but I'd like to just block all the "what did you last.." threads while still being able to see the rest of the food forum posts when I click "unread threads since last visit". Is there a way to just block threads you don't want to see in your list anymore?

I have the same problem!  I don't think there is a way to block specific threads though, just entire boards.  Would be an awesome feature, though.

I agree, it would be nice. I belong to a few other forums (fora??) with that option, and it's really helpful.

Agreed - I know people love the games, but I never play them & don't like them cluttering up my Unread Topics display.

Yeah, I tried to block a thread and ended up accidentally blocking a poster. Whoops!

So, "forums" or "fora" if you're feeling Latin.  Not that I know Latin at all, but I've never seen the plural called anything but "forums" or "fora".

Unless it's different when you're referring to many groups of forums (such as this one being a group of forums and another message board being a separate group of forums), which would do my head in if it were different.

On topic: I have a hard time keeping track of current threads, but I would definitely use the unread or recent post feature more if we could block some threads.

I only check the "unread posts" but I find I need to go back 2 and 3 pages to weed past the game threads.  I think I replied in one or two MONTHS ago and now I'm stuck with it popping up in the "replies to your posts"!

You could go back and delete your old post which should take it off of the 'replies to your posts' list.

Even two months after the post? Nice. I'm used to boards where you only have a short window (until someone replies) to delete your post.

I've not done it myself...was just a thought that you could try...if it doesn't work, not my fault!

Are you talking about the actual Games on the Games board?  If so, you can block that entire board and none of them will show up.

On the topic of blocking certain threads, I just skim past ones I don't want to read.  It doesn't seem that big of a thing to me.
