What is your favorite memory about this forum?  Mine is staying up until 3 a.m. watching the US presidential election last year and chatting with some very fun people in the chat room.  ;D

That was a fun night!

Abby Normal and her family coming to meet me in another state when I was on holiday there with my family.

That was a great day!  Oh, and don't let her make it seem like we drove across the country - it was a two hour drive. :P ;D

As far as I'm aware the Chatroom has not been working for quite some time.

My first meeting with Mindy was a memorable one.... :P  Long. lengthy chats late into the night..

That was a fun night, too!  And also the time at LisaE's when Cait was making margaritas and Anne and Steph and vnicepeeps and a bunch of others were all there.  OMG, did I get drunk that night!

Yes!! It was so windy!! We were bad photographers, but also the wind kept whipping our hair in front of our eyes!  ;D

I think most of my Mindy memories involve her being drunk!  :P

No, not all! I liked wandering around the shell shop in St. Ives with Team Mindy! And she was sober!

And, also in St. Ives, a romantic dinner for two with Geeta!

Having a fun girlie weekend with AnneR and Q-G ... and getting totally caught up in UKY drama!

Wow thinking back to almost three years ago now... After all the confusion settled mine would be when I found out through UKY that my boyfriend still loved me and wanted a life with me.  [smiley=heart.gif]

thought of another.  When HG asked my VERY unhappy teenager to Thanksgiving dinner and made her feel a little less far away from home.  It was much appreciated.

There was a picnic in Hyde Park where someone's kid got their umbrella stuck in a tree.

That was a LONG time ago!  Cait's little boy was just a tiny baby.

I don't think it counts as a UKY meetup, but Q-G and I have been known to have a right party.  ;D

One time it involved my mom, and she and I giggled like psychos all the way back to Embra.

Another time, Q-G doesn't know it, but she convinced me to take that Stella, and I was sick as a dog when I finally stumbled back home - although I'd gone native enough to be able to hold back being ill till I was in my own place, but I think I probably gave the taxi driver the biggest tip of the night.

I look forward to further meet-ups when Struan gets a bit older.

Sounds like I'm in the right place.  ;)
