Gift certificate, unless it's from my husband since he knows what I like best.

At work--music or no music?

Music if it is something I like. If it doesn't sit well with me, it is distracting.

Read the book or listen to the audiobook?

Read, I've never listened to an audio book...

For a fancy night out--hair swept up or loose and down?

I generally go for swept up. I don't know that it truly is fancier but in my little mind it is.

Gloves or mittens on a cold day?

Mittens are more cozy. But not so practical. But I'll still take 'em.

Radio or your own music?

My own music. I like a mix of a lot of kinds of music. Plus, I'd rather skip the adverts for things I'm probably not going to buy anyway.

Walking outdoors for exercise or walking on a machine in a temperature controlled gym?

Walking outdoors, I don't do gyms!

For comfort on a snuggly day--dressing gown (bath robe) or sweat pants / track suit bottoms and top?

Usually some sort of fun (Monty Python, Pink Floyd, cats, Orange County Chopper, festive ones at Christmas or some sort of character) pj bottoms or occasionally sweats with a top.

Go to Subway for sandwiches or make your own?

Make my own.  I think there's a Subway in the city centre, but that's too far to be practical for me.  When I was still in Philly, Subway was the meeting place of choice (not sure why now...) for one of my friends and I.  They'd let us sit and talk for ages!

Nail polish or au natural for your exposed toes in the summer?

Usually nail polish. I like to wear it in the winter too, sometimes, for a splash of colour, but normally wear it all summer.

Easter egg or Easter bunny for your chocolate (if you celebrate)?

I don't celebrate Easter, but that never stopped me from enjoying a chocolate egg or bunny!  I'll go with bunny as they are more fun to eat.

What traditional food from some other religion than the one you grew up with do you love?  I hope that made sense.

Latkes are Jewish and Eastern European, right? And I am not Jewish, but of Eastern European descent - I love 'em. Does that count?  :)

Aperitif or nightcap?

Yes they are and yes it counts!  I've been meaning to make some but haven't yet.

I actually had to google apertif, I did not know what it was (except that it contained alcohol), that's how ignorant I am of most things alcoholic.

I'd prefer hot cocoa, I guess you could throw a splash of something in it so it qualifies as a nightcap.

Pasta with a white sauce or red sauce?  (I know that is probably American-Italian, not traditional Italian.)

Usually red. I like a good alfredo once in a while, but over all I like a good tomato based sauce.

Try for the perfect picture as you are taking it, or photoshop it later?
