Usually red. I like a good alfredo once in a while, but over all I like a good tomato based sauce.

Try for the perfect picture as you are taking it, or photoshop it later?

I guess the first one, 'cause I don't know how to photoshop - however, I am more likely to be the one to lose or forget a camera.

Conservatory or patio?

That really depends on where I live! In Idaho, I would have said patio because Idaho has gorgeous early summer weather that's wonderful to sit in on summer evenings with a glass of wine!

But where it's colder I would be more inclined to the conservatory for warmth!

Here in England, can I pick both?? They certainly BOTH would come in handy with the way the weather is here!  :)

Usually credit/debit card. But I am selling my stuff, so over the last month it has been cash.

When watching tv, drama or comedy?

Overall, I'd go with drama. I love a good comedy, but these days they don't seem to be as funny (to me anyway) as they used to.

Air dry or blow dry your hair?

I'll do both, but it depends on what I have going on the next day. (I.E. I have a big important marketing meeting tomorrow, so I will blow dry my hair to make extra sure it looks good tomorrow, otherwise, I would have washed it tonight and slept on it wet!)

I'm vegetarian, but I don't eat loads of salad.  I do eat loads of steamed veggies, curries, stews, soups, chili, all jam-packed with veggies.

What is one thing you eat more of since you've lived in the UK?  Or if you're still in the US what do you expect you'll eat more of in the UK?

I just realized, that question doesn't follow the Big Question format, so I'll have to change it.

During hot weather, lots more salads and cold dishes for dinner or still eat the same warming hearty food you did in winter?

Here, since it doesn't get as hot, we still eat the same, for the most part, in summer. On really warm days we will eat something cold. When we were in the States (and once we get back) we ate salads nearly every night in the summer. We'd throw in some ham or chicken if we wanted meat.

Dessert every night, or only on special occasions?

Small ones every night, because why should we have to wait to treat ourselves? Moderation makes it okay, but definitely enjoy bigger, more indulgent ones on special occasions.

Should I explore our new neighbourhood by myself (well, with the dog), or wait for husband to get home from work so if I get lost, at least I won't be alone? :P

Most definitely get out and explore your new neighbourhood with the dog. You can take shorter routes and explore smaller areas at first until you are more comfortable. The bigger walks can be with hubby until you are comfortable. I don't know about everywhere, but in our area, there is always police or community support officers out and about somewhere who could give you directions if you don't happen to see someone who can guide you. One thing I did at first was take pictures of street signs or 'bigish' landmarks with my phone, and I could follow them backward if I needed to.

One big gift, or a few smaller ones?

That definitely depends on the gift(s)!  But probably one big one as I hate loads of useless clutter that ends up getting donated to the charity shop anyway.

On your birthday (given that it's a day you don't have to work), breakfast in bed or dinner out?

As much as I love a curry, I'd pick Mexican every time I was given a choice.

Peanut butter and jelly or one without the other on toast?

Peanut butter or jam on on toast - don't like the two together.   :)

Woops, missed this Andee. Yes, from a meat lovers perspective (mine or UKC DH) the quality of the beef pales in comparison. British beef is predominantly grass fed; American either corn or grain fed - requiring much more scrutiny as to when/where/how they get fed. End result is a less juicy, sure probably less fat - but less flavorful meat. Consider me your meat expert if you need advice.  ;)

Benedict. Any way, shape or form.

Dressing/cream or no dressing/cream with a salad?
