Online app - wrong date of birth

I have no idea how I managed to do this, but when I applied online I entered my birth date wrong and didn't notice until I'd printed it. Can I change it by hand and make a note? It's also wrong on my biometrics appointment confirmation - is this catastrophically bad or not such a huge deal?

I wouldn't worry as long as you explain it.

When I did the online app. I messed up and entered my maiden name dash married name where it said OTHER NAMES instead of entering my middle name. So when I printed out my paper for my biometrics it had my maiden dash married name as my middle name. When I went to my biometrics appointment the woman fixed it on her computer after looking at my passport.

Also, I explained this discrepancy in the last paragraph of my cover letter.

Any errors on the printed form can just be crossed out, initialed, and the correct information written next to it. Then just include in your cover letter that question #whatever was corrected due to entering the incorrect date.

I made a mistake on one of my answers. Can I change it?

No. Once you have submitted your online application you cannot change it. However, please enter any changes in writing on your printed copy of the application form.

If you are a married woman or were previously married and have used different names at any time please include these even if you have now reverted to an original name.
