I was wondering what the easiest (and legal way) to transfer money from my UK bank account to my US bank account. I still have student loans I need to pay off back home.
I get hit with fees when I wire money to and from my banks directly. I was thinking about Western Union or Pay Pal.
Is there any restrictions or concerns on the amount that I can send? I've read somewhere that wiring money from overseas too much could raise eyebrows with the US government, who might assume you're up illegal activities.
